THE NAME

(Mini Story)

There lived a young husband and wife in the out skirts of London City. Husband’s name was John and wife’s name was Mary. They were married about two years ago. A male child was born to them recently.

Time passed. The couple was in need of a suitable name for their baby. A puzzle has created among them, in selecting a name to their offspring. Mary wanted to give a popular name for their son, while John needed useful one. They could not find out a name to their child for a long period of time. Really speaking they were facing a very difficult situation.

One day the couple were travelling with their baby to a nearby place driving their car. The fuel in the car seemed almost exhausted. So they stopped their car at a fuel station. While the fuel was being filled in their car Mary noticed a small sign board there. She showed it to John. John looked at the board and read it, both of them exchanged smiles looking at each other’s eyes. At last they got a name suitable to their baby boy. The name was Diesel. John and Mary agreed that name because Diesel is useful and popular one. Some of us would think that diesel as name of fuel. But really diesel is the name of the great man who invented that fuel. So the couple drove away happily.
